Norcross Neighbors holds its general meeting the
second Tuesday of select months at the Norcross Cultural Arts and
Community Center, 10 Britt Street.
Our organization was originally formed as the
“Norcross Homeowners Association.” In 2005, we changed our name to
“Norcross Neighbors” to reflect the fact that we are not a
traditional homeowners association – for example, we don’t enforce
restrictive covenants – and to more clearly identify our purpose of
neighborhood service. The name also clearly identifies us as being
open to everyone who lives in our town or owns a business here, not
just homeowners.
Annual membership dues for Norcross
Neighbors are just $20 per year per household. Payment can be made
at any of our regular meetings, online (additional $1 online fee),
or by mail to:
Jerry Brown, Treasurer
76 Jones Street
Norcross, GA 30071
What does my $20 support?
Every new citizen to Norcross receives
a welcome package filled items that are both donated and/or paid
for by Norcross Neighbors. The packages are assembled and delivered
by volunteers. We are active financial sponsors of the Corners to
Crossing 10K, the Norcross Art Festival and the annual Tour of
Homes. Norcross Neighbors wholly sponsors the annual Ice Cream
Social that scooped more than 25 gallons of ice cream during the
re-opening of Thrasher Park this year. We also sponsor the annual
Norcross Neighbors Christmas party.
Perhaps most important is the amount
of communication we deliver to our members. We route relevant
information weekly via email and post current event schedule
information on this web site. Prior to every local election,
Norcross Neighbors hosts the popular Candidate’s Forum, affording
candidates equal opportunity to respond to questions presented by
citizens.
