Amazing Escapes

Escape rooms are becoming more and more popular so my friends and I went to Amazing Escapes a month ago, and we were not disappointed.

For those of you who don’t know what escape rooms are, they put you in a room and create a scenario. You have to escape from zombies, for example, and to do so, you have to solve a bunch of puzzles and clues.

My friends and I had a lot of fun. I could also see how this would be a great activity for co-workers, like a teambuilding exercise.

The staff is super helpful and nice to everyone, and the facility was clean and looked great. The scenario they gave us was well constructed and so much fun.

I’d definitely recommend this as something fun to do in Norcross. For more information, have a look at their website.

Tiny Towne

In this fun attraction, aspiring drivers between the ages of 3 and 15 will get the chance to drive high-tech mini cars on streets that are realistic. The idea is that they have to follow the traffic signals and road signs and show one another respect. When young drivers complete various educational activities, they are able to advance to the higher-level tracks that are more fun. It’s the perfect combination of education and entertainment.

The facility has party rooms for groups, a classroom for field trips, an arcade room, and a computer lab equipped with touch screen computers and simulators. There are also various waiting rooms for the parents that are super nice, which is great for me.

I brought my 8-year-old boy here last weekend, and he loved it. I would definitely recommend it as something fun to do with the kids in Norcross.

Buford Highway Farmers Market

This place is brilliant. I’ve gone to other farmers markets in the metro Atlanta area, and this is definitely the best one. It’s especially great for international selections.

The meat department is my favorite part. If you’re looking for a certain kind of steak, they definitely have it. If you’re looking for weird meats like pig feet or pig snout, they actually have that too. You can even get a big bag of chicken drumsticks for only six bucks. Pretty awesome!

The produce department isn’t huge, but they have quite a range of vegetables and fruits. I could find some fruit that I couldn’t find at my local grocery store, and it was cheap, too!

The seafood department is also great. They are full of all kinds of seafood for you to choose from. And it didn’t actually smell like seafood, which was a huge bonus as far as I’m concerned.

They have virtually everything you need food wise, from European specialties to Asian foods to Russian foods. You can buy some baklava or mango juice. Whatever you’re looking for, they have it.

The Buford Highway Farmers Market is one of my favorite things in Norcross. I would definitely recommend it.

Jones Bridge Park

Jones Bridge Park is one of Norcross’s best parks. With some brilliant trails, you can walk along side of the river, which is absolutely beautiful. The playground and restrooms have just been redone, and they are super nice.

There are quite a few picnic tables in the shade so it’s a great place to go for a picnic with the family. There is also access to the Hooch, which is awesome. It’s a great spot for fishing if you’re into that.

You can bring bread to feed the ducks and geese, which the kids will definitely love. It’s a great place to watch the sunset, too.

This is an amazing backdrop for pictures. My friends did their engagement photos here, and they looked incredible.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend checking out the park.
